PV Fluid Products

PV Fluid Products (PV) was established in 1993 to improve the product, quality, and service of rotors and stators used in positive displacement motors for the oil and gas industry. They have offices in strategic worldwide locations, including Houston (USA), Calgary (Canada), Nisku (Canada), Macclesfield (UK), Wolfenbuttel (Germany), and Dubai (Emirates). PV specializes in the design, supply, and support of mud motor power sections used in downhole, horizontal, and directional drilling in the oil and gas sector.

PV approached William Joseph to help develop an integrated campaign to brand and promote their new product HS88, a high quality, high strength, hard rubber nitrile elastomer used in stators for downhole drilling motors. In terms of service life and reliability, HS88 is a superior product compared to products from competitors, and has successfully outperformed in some of the world’s most demanding drilling conditions. These became unique differentiators that began the concept creation for the HS88 campaign.

PV Fluid – Website

For PV and its team, innovation without results means nothing. The HS88 website was developed as a vital hub and foundational asset for all things HS88 related – from background information on the product, to case studies and real-world results and statistics based on reports from existing HS88 clients. The Call-To-Action (CTA) of all tactics related to the HS88 campaign is to visit the website, which is designed to reflect the campaign look and feel, to showcase HS88 results, and to maintain consistency with campaign advertisements and direct selling assets.

PV Fluid – HS88 Campaign

The core objective of the HS88 campaign is to drive awareness of HS88 to PV’s target audiences, to generate leads, and to ultimately increase sales. The campaign is part of a greater strategic marketing plan for the organization with the overall goal of positioning PV as leading manufacturers of mud motor power sections for directional drilling. The campaign concept “When It Matters Most” was developed to apply on two levels: One at the product level, where HS88 is there when you need more torque and power, when you need the power section to last longer, and when you need to drill in the most demanding conditions. Secondly, it applies at the intangible service level, where PV is there when you need urgent support in remote areas. PV is the brand that delivers on the things that matter most – confidence, security, and trust – when it matters most. Based on this message, we began on developing tactics to support the campaign.
