Loraas Recycles

Loraas is Saskatchewan’s leader in waste transfer and recycling services, with some of the most advanced services anywhere in Canada. A local company that exceeds global waste management standards, Loraas helps maintain and create a clean, healthy, flourishing Saskatchewan.

Though it is continually advancing and growing, Loraas has maintained the strong family values it was founded upon. The company has accomplished much during its fifty years of business and wanted to start telling its story more to the communities it serves. Needing to tell its story in an authentic way that inspires others and demonstrates how it is a positive force within the community, Loraas engaged William Joseph for marketing support and to help create awareness of the key role it plays in its communities.

Loraas – Truck Wrap

Founded in 1965, Loraas has a long history of serving the communities of Saskatchewan, and as it approached its 50th anniversary, Loraas asked William Joseph to design a 50th anniversary logo as well as create new truck wraps for its residential recycling fleet. The result was a logo that celebrated and brought awareness to the company’s history and trucks with a fresh and updated look that will be noticed in the residential communities they serve.

William Joseph worked to create wraps that stand out and connect Loraas with the products it recycles and its community partnerships in a memorable manner. The team designed wraps for the major materials that Loraas recycles: aluminum, cardboard, and plastic. Each wrap is a parody of a prominent campaign associated with the materials: pop cans, pizza boxes, and milk jugs. These irreverent wraps feature playful messages, such as “Loraas Recycles – Now That’s Refreshing!” or “Got Milk Jugs?” as well as the logos of the organizations Loraas is proud to support. The trucks are just beginning to roll out across Saskatoon and will remain in use for years to come.

In the spirit of the holiday season, we ask you to support our client, the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre, and participate in this year's Dream Home Lottery.

The proceeds from this event will go to support the Centre and its mission to empower children and families impacted but abuse.

We're so incredibly humbled to work with such a wonderful organization and are proud of the brand we were able to create for them!
