Castleavery Hospitality Ventures is an ownership group with aspirations to be a premier Canadian lodge destination group. In 2015, they purchased the Mount Engadine Lodge near Canmore, Alberta, as their flagship lodge. With ambition to open several more lodges in the near future, the Mount Engadine Lodge will serve as a benchmark for the group.
The previous lodge had limited branding, a dysfunctional website, and was in need of a facelift. William Joseph was approached to handle a rebrand that would represent Mount Engadine, but also the new Castleavery brand. With a relatively devout group of yearly travellers, the rebrand would have to be mindful of the potential blowback of alienating the core market. Settling on the name Castleavery at Mount Engadine, the team at William Joseph developed a brand strategy that would carry the lodge and the parent brand through the upcoming developments.
