  • Senior Strategist Calgary, AB

    The Senior Strategist uses marketing research and analysis to create marketing strategies and implement tactics for clients. The Senior Strategist takes advantage of different techniques to get to the core of a client’s business, industry, and customers for clients in various industries and of diverse sizes to create unique brands, campaigns and marketing strategies. Along with the Director of Strategy, they are responsible for supporting Marketing Strategists, Content Writers, and the rest of the Strategy department’s success. They support, guide, and inspire the rest of the team whenever needed.

    Accountabilities

    Provide Clients Strategic Direction
    • Creates strategic direction for client marketing, building on research

    WJ is seeking a Design Director/Creative Director to join and lead our experienced design team. This role will be responsible for facilitating and ensuring the creation of exceptional design work.

    The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating various marketing materials for William Joseph and its clients. Ultimately, they are versatile, and have strengths in a variety of traditional and digital design techniques.

    • Interprets creative briefs and design material as requested by the Creative Director, Operations Manager, and Account Managers
    • Clarifies design issues and thinks creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
    • Contributes ideas and designs artwork to the overall brief
    • Presents finalized ideas and concepts to Creative Director
    • Manages more than one design brief at a time and allocates the relevant amount of time according to the parameters of the job
    • Incorporates a wide range of media (including photography and computer-aided design software) into projects
    • Demonstrates consistency in overall design decisions when working on campaigns
    • Provides layout design, annual reports, logo design, illustration, and occasional magazine ad concepts
