  • Client Marketing Advisor Grande Prairie, Saskatoon, Vancouver, & Calgary

    As Client Marketing Advisor, the focus of the role is to manage, maintain, collaborate, and develop relationships with William Joseph’s clients. The primary goal is to ensure the smooth, effective running of the marketing services requested and the maximization of revenue through product and program development. The Account Manager serves as the clients’ primary point of contact.

    A Client Marketing Advisor is responsible for being the client’s representative at William Joseph, as well as William Joseph’s representative at the client’s organization. The Client Marketing Advisor must ensure that a client receives the best possible product and service by establishing and maintaining the William Joseph experience on each account.

    Internally, CMA must function as team facilitators and communicate the client’s needs clearly to the entire team. CMA must also develop and maintain a good working knowledge of the client’s business CMA must develop good working relationships with all clients to ensure repeat business, as well as referrals. This position is considered a management position and is overtime-exempt.

    Accountabilities

    Client Management and Strategic Advisor

    • Develops a deep understanding of the client’s business, goals and objectives
    • Understanding client needs and providing strategic recommendations
    • Faithfully observes the William Joseph client service process without exception
    • Monitors projects for scope and amends contracts with client written approval
    • Executes each account’s business, listens to clients, and responds to calls/emails in a timely manner
    • Ensures all required materials are acquired from the client for project development
    • Provides clients with up-to-date information on their projects
    • Finds innovative ways to serve clients who are non-responsive to traditional project steps and processes
    • Provides education and training to the client to ensure the client’s understanding
    • Ability to problem solve and provide recommendations and advice to clients at every turn

     

    Project Management/Management of Internal Team and Resources

    • Oversees projects to stay on time and on budget and are completed within the assigned timeframe allocated for the project, while managing client expectations
    • Provides clear and concise direction and support to members of the project team
    • Assists in the creation of creative briefs for all projects to ensure all aspects of a project are clearly documented and confirmed
    • Reviews and oversees all proofs that leave the shop and are the last set of eyes from a quality control perspective on a project before it is finalized by the client or a printer
    • Arranges, facilitates, and documents meetings between departments to complete client projects
    • Ensures clients understand and sign off on all contracts and amendments before beginning or continuing a project
    • Updates all docket contracts, pertinent changes, revisions and information relevant to the job
    • Ensures Intervals information remains current for client account projects
    • Ensures the Director team is aware of the status of all projects and deadlines
    • Communicates objectives, concerns and any changes to a project status to the Director team
    • Provide departments with client feedback at end of projects

    A Marketing Strategist uses marketing research and analysis to plan and create marketing strategies and implementation tactics for a client. The Marketing Strategist supports this function with thorough research and analysis, using a variety of primary and secondary research tools and skills. Under the guidance of the Director of Strategy and Senior Strategists at William Joseph, the Strategist will help prepare initial insights to found marketing strategies, develop brands, and create marketing strategies, as well as perform continuous analysis of the success of clients’ marketing.

    The Senior Strategist uses marketing research and analysis to create complex marketing strategies and implements tactical marketing programs for clients. The Senior Strategist takes advantage of different techniques to get to the core of a client’s business, industry, and customers for clients in various industries and of diverse sizes to create unique brands, campaigns and marketing strategies. Along with the Director of Strategy, they are responsible for supporting the client and project teams, ensuring the overall objectives of the client are met. They support, guide, and inspire the rest of the team whenever needed.

    This position focuses heavily on social media content creation, strategy, and analysis – you would be responsible for developing client-specific social media strategies, creating and implementing monthly social content, as well as managing engagement and growing the accounts of multiple clients across a variety of industries. The Social Media Specialist works in close partnership with the Social Media Manager, Digital Strategists, the Director of Communications, and the Creative Director, and interacts with other departments as needed.

    Social Media Content Creation and Management

    • Develop and execute results-driven social media strategies for a variety of clients
    • Curate, write, and schedule engaging content for assigned clients, representing each unique client brand in an authentic, compelling, and differentiating manner
    • Create and follow a system to consistently and systematically ensure content performance, continuously improving content through data and metric analysis
    • Work with the Creative team to guide feed aesthetic, including photo, graphic, and video content
