Saskatoon Zoo Society
Core Branding
Challenge
The Saskatoon Zoo Society was William Joseph’s 2010 Brand Aid recipient. A volunteer-driven, non-profit, environmental education organization, the Saskatoon Zoo Society is dedicated to fostering respect for nature.
The Zoo Society wanted to use its $25,000 worth of marketing services to redesign its website and develop a Sponsorship Package that could be sent to potential donors.
William Joseph Thinking
Like most non-profits, the Saskatoon Zoo Society struggles to attract the attention of potential donors. To help aid this process, we created an eight-page package that clearly outlined the sponsorship opportunities.
For the website redesign, we kept a number of goals in mind:
- Create an aesthetically appealing site.
- Organize information in a user-friendly manner.
- Clearly communicate the breadth of education programs available.
- Make it easy for the Zoo Society to update and maintain.
Results
The eight-page sponsorship brochure was a first for the Society. It explains corporate sponsorship opportunities, while serving as a helpful leave-behind for the fundraising team. Our website redesign improved the user experience by streamlining information while using the Zoo’s beautiful imagery. As a result, we’ve boosted user retention by making it easier to find information about fundraising, programs and the zoo in general.
